Terms of Service
Version 2026-07.2 · QUONtech LLC ("QUONtech", "we"). These terms govern the QUONlab platform at quonlab.com and all its modules. By accepting them at the gate, you agree to them - for yourself and, where you act with authority, for your organization.
1. The platform
QUONlab is a business technology platform for organizations: A.C.T.U.A.L. (operational truth records), the Trial, the Shop, Agent Studio, Compliance, Messages, and related services. QUONlab is built for business use by organizations and their members.
2. Accounts, approval, and the gate
Anyone may sign up; every account is reviewed and approved by QUONtech before full use - there is no automatic approval, and approval may be declined or revoked. Before using the platform, every account accepts these terms and completes a profile ("the gate"). You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
3. Organizations and purchase authority
Commercial features belong to organizations, never to individual users. Organization registrations are reviewed by QUONtech. Within an organization, purchase authority - the right to buy, unlock, and spend for the organization - belongs to its admins, principals, and founder. When a person with purchase authority acts, they bind their organization.
4. Records: append-only by design
A.C.T.U.A.L. and related modules keep permanent, append-only records: new answers supersede old ones, and history remains. This permanence is a core feature of the platform, not a defect. Your organization's recorded content belongs to your organization; we process it to provide the services.
5. Purchases and payment
All purchases are made in the Shop, belong to exactly one organization, and are paid through Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. Prices shown at checkout - including any granted discount - are the binding prices. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
6. All sales final - no refunds (digital goods)
Everything sold on QUONlab is a digital good or digital service, delivered and usable immediately after payment. For that reason, all sales are final and there are no returns and no refunds - including for partially used subscription periods, coins, and one-time fees. By completing a purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and performance and acknowledge that, to the extent a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right would otherwise apply, it is waived upon such immediate delivery. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
7. Cancellation - self-service, always
Every subscription can be cancelled by your organization itself, at any time, under Payment - no calls, no emails, no questions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with 3 days notice before renewal; everything stays active until then. When access ends, nothing is deleted: every answer, score, and record remains, and renewing restores access.
8. Compliance coins
Coins are one-time digital credits. They never expire, are not refundable, have no cash value, and are not transferable outside the wallet they were credited to. Framework unlocks bought with coins are permanent for the organization.
9. Agent Studio
Studio orders never charge automatically: a human contacts you, configures the agents, and billing starts only when your order is confirmed as running. Plans include a shared fair-use token pool; sustained overshoot beyond 10% may lead to suspension after we contact you; failed payments carry a 48-hour grace period before agents go offline.
10. What the platform does not do
Truth Reports, scores, spiders, and gap reports reflect exactly what your organization recorded - nothing more. They are not legal, financial, audit, or professional advice, and no output of the platform certifies compliance with any law or standard. Decisions remain yours.
11. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to breach or probe security, no misrepresenting an organization or authority you do not hold, no reselling access without written agreement. We may suspend accounts or organizations that break these rules; recorded data remains per section 4.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, QUONtech's total liability arising out of the services is limited to the amounts your organization paid to QUONtech in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Changes to these terms
When these terms change materially, the version number changes and the gate collects acceptance again before continued use. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
14. Contact and governing law
QUONtech LLC · info@quon.tech · Messages inside the platform. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at QUONtech LLC's place of organization in the United States; venue and final legal review rest with counsel, and an updated version will bump the version number per section 13.
